Keep up to date with the latest news and product updates about the Clear Heater System!
The CHS control panel has several new features based on customer feedback. The first is a new home screen or status screen (press the House Icon in the left hand menu). This new optional status screen provides a simpler method of increasing or decreasing the global temperature setting on your Clear Heater System or InLine Hot Water System by pressing the red UP, or blue DOWN arrows.
The new status screen can be enabled or disabled on your control panel by selecting: Main Settings / Screen Options / Enable or Disable Simple Screen
All control panel software updates will automatically be downloaded when your control panel is connected to the internet.
This will help to focus our customer service to the specific needs of the customer with customer specific messaging to individual or group of control panels in the home. This opens up a new phase in our ability to respond direct to customers via the comfort of Logicor's control panel.
All control panels connected to the internet will automatically receive the free product update in the coming weeks.
We are now developing future CHS heater units and ILHWS hot water units to communicate with control panels via Bluetooth technology.
This will coincide with a new main Control Panel that has both Bluetooth and 4G capability allowing each heater system to communicate and receive updates independently of the customer's own WiFi connection.
The CHS Control Panel gets a little brother in April when the mini control panel is released.
It is designed to work as a stand alone control panel to give more flexibility for users to change heater settings without having to always use the main control panel. It is also ideal for use in an office or hotel environment where users need to have the ability to change the temperature if necessary but not need to adjust any of the more advanced features of the Clear Heater System which is done via the main control panel.
The mini control panel is simple to add to your existing Clear Heater System and connects to the heater units via Bluetooth. Battery power is expected to last at least 10 years with the combined solar cell recharge function.
The User Guide has been updated to include the latest functions of the Clear Heater System.
If your control panel is connected to the internet your Clear Heater System will automatically update when new features are released.
The recent updates include the ability to turn off the heater communication light, change the Heat-Up mode settings, a new Independent Zone for rooms you don't want to heat so often, and the option to add contact telephone numbers to the Fireguard safety function.
The current version of our control panel user guide is now available to download.
The user guide explains in detail each function of the Clear Heater control panel.
Whilst our installation programme gathers more pace it has become apparent that there is a higher than predicted level of homes in the UK not equipped with Wi-Fi access to the internet.
Customers without Wi-Fi are not benefiting from some of the higher end functionality of the Clear Heater system. To resolve this we have brought forward the launch of our 3G version of the Control Panel, which will be available during the first half of 2014.
In the meantime we will continue to assist customers where we can.
"It's very important that we achieve these milestones as it helps customers understand that the system can help them save energy. The Energy Saving Trust has approved several products from Logicor before but this is our first central heating system."
After a great deal of work and taking into account the focus group responses, the chrome and gloss-white Clear Heater Control Panel goes into production.
Having been designed from the ground up, the only thing that is not bespoke to this project is the LCD screen itself.
The control panel can be fitted to a wall or it can be left on a shelf or a coffee table. It connects to the Clear Heaters in your home via the electrical ring mains and connects to the outside world via the World Wide Web.
This control panel allows the user access to features never before seen on a central heating system. For example, you can control your heating system by asking it to spend only a specific sum of money each day, week or month.
