Keep up to date with the latest news and product updates about the Clear Heater System!
Earlier this year we announced that our testing had started on our new Whole House Solution (WHS), we can now confirm all of our tests have gone as planned and is ready to be launched to the public.
The WHS will involve Logicor installing its products into a home, alongside solar panels and battery storage. The home will use all of the power generated from the solar panels to either charge the battery or power the home directly. Your neighbours will be able to purchase any excess power you have produced at a subsidised price if they also get their energy from Logicor Energy.
If it’s an overcast day and the solar panels can’t produce enough electricity to charge the battery fully then it use the national grid to charge it up, this will make the battery the primary power source for the home.
The cost of our Whole House Solution depends on the size and specification of your property, however for an average 3 bedroom house the cost would be £99 per month over a 20 year period. This includes all of the kit (Clear Heater Panels, InLine Hot Water System, Control Panel, Solar Panels and Battery) and the installation of everything in your property. We will need to survey your property so we can give you a quote.
Through Logicor Energy, we provide customers with the extra energy that may be required to charge the battery. For this we have three different tariffs costing, £4.99, £9.99 and £39.99. This price will be fixed over a period of time depending on the usage.
Before installing the WHS, you must pass a credit check to ensure you can take on the term required.
We hope to have our first commercial WHS installed by the end of this month, with the rest of the properties on our waiting list following suit over the following month.

Today we began the live testing of our new solar and battery, heating and hot water solution which we call our Whole House Solution (WHS). The WHS will involve Logicor installing its products into a home, allowing the customers to pay for them monthly whilst also supplying energy to the entire house. The home will effectively use all of the power it generates from the sun to either charge the battery or power the home directly with excess power being used by the next door neighbour at a subsidised price if they also get their energy from Logicor Energy.
Should the battery need to be charged because there is not enough light to charge it fully, it will be charged from the mains electricity thus making the primary power source for the home the battery. As Logicor’s CHS system is the only phased and pulsed system in the world it is fully capable of running from the power being supplied it by the battery. It’s a system that has been in development for several years now and it’s in the final shake down phase prior to release.
After carefully considering every aspect, we believe this is the next idea for Logicor to take forward and bring to market for our new and existing customer.
From sea levels rising to more extreme weather the threats posed by climate change have never been so obvious. So if our customers can produce their own renewable energy alongside using a highly efficient heating and hot water system’s than this will be the ideal solution to the problem.
As part of our test’s we hope to establish and adverse parameters that may limit the performance of the solar panels and battery storage such that it would inhibit use of this solution. This shake down phase will help us to establish this and with our Clear Heater System now in its sixth year on the market the unique properties it has e.g. pulsed and phased energy, will ensure it doesn’t need to lean on a supply from the homes incoming power rather than the battery.
Early data suggests the performance envelope is being exceeded by the system which is very good news.
We hope to have a further announcement during the summer on whether the tests have been successful; if they have then we will start the installations during this period. If you would like more information on how they will work or would like to be added to our waiting list, then please get in touch with us.
Logicor's Infrared Home Heating System (CHS) has reached the finals of the 2018 National Energy Efficiency Awards in the category National Product of the Year. The award ceremony took place on 7th September in Birmingham.
When installed, it is measuring energy usage constantly and reporting that energy usage back to the user. It is integrated into our application so users can benefit from seeing how much energy their home is using and not just the energy usage of their CHS and ILHWS systems.
Logicor has always strived to put energy efficiency at the heart of all its products and now we are preparing to take an alternative approach to save you even more money on your energy bills.
Logicor is launching a new energy company called Logicor Energy Ltd with the goal of offering very cheap and in some situations free energy to its customers. Full tariff details, terms and conditions will be made available after launch.
You could jump the queue and get priority information as soon as they are made available after launch by signing up for notifications on the Logicor Energy website.
Logicor are working on a new product to compliment our existing portfolio of energy saving products.
The new Logicor Energy Meter or LEM for short will begin live trails from the end of July through to September and is due for release before December 2016.
The purpose of the LEM is to read and report back accurately the total energy usage for a single property right down to a resolution of a single Watt second. This will help to build an energy use picture to guide customers in ways to save money and energy.
The LEM has a high degree of learning capability built into it and will allow each connected LEM talk to other LEM’s on it's own network and identify individual devices in a home. For example it will be able to identify that the iron is still switched on or that the tumble drier is on. The resolution is so small that it will be able to identify a phone charger or a TV in standby.
We think it’s a worthy addition to our portfolio of products and dove tails in perfectly with the company’s push in the direction of energy saving solution, in particular the CHS and ILHWS.
How do our heaters use so little energy?
Pett Level Rescue Boat is an independent inshore rescue service on the South Coast of England that became a charity in 1971 and it depends on fundraising and donations to offer an effective and reliable rescue service. That is why Logicor were more than happy to assist when asked if we could support the refurbishment of their old boathouse.
